Tips for a Perfect cookie!
There is a certain feeling of ecstasy and enlightenment, when one eats a pile of cookies and washes them down with some milk. The only thing that might spoil youre good intention, is the cookie itself. You must perfect the art of making these cookies, and here are some tips that will help you get there.
- Make sure you use fresh ingredients when you bake from scratch. If you’re going to go through the trouble to make them, make sure you use premium products! If the items aren’t good and fresh, guess what? The cookies won’t be either.
- Test everything out! Get a few recipes and see which one makes you smile just that much more. Don’t just stick with that one classic you seem to have fallen in love with, there might be a better one out there! Experiment with different types of chocolate, and chocolate that is packaged differently. You may even want to buy a bar and chop them up yourself! Also, experiment with the number of chips you put in. Switch up textures too, maybe you like it moist, but you like it better a little harder.
- When you store you’re chocolate for future use, do it right. Keep it in a closed container so that moisture does not get in. If you don’t, a white film might develop on top of the chocolate, and this is undesirable. Don’t leave chocolate in areas that are warm, or it will melt!
- Decide if you want to add some nuts to you’re cookies, you might enjoy it!
- Make sure you do not burn you’re cookies! Try using a baking pan that is shiny, and try not to use a thin pan. Try using only the top and middle racks, the bottom row is too dangerous, as some parts of the cookie may burn.
